Events, Outings and Visits are open to every member of Wakefield and District u3a whether or not they are a member of any Group.
Outings and Visits - Every year we arrange a schedule of days out and visits. These run primarily between March and October and they are open to all members subject to availability
Previous events have included theatre visits, afternoon tea, gin tasting, a visit to the Astoria Centre, fish & chip lunch and many more.
Watch this page for upcoming events as they are arranged on a rolling basis...
Over the past year or so the cost of hiring transport has rocketed and such excursions have become uneconomical to run. Instead we are arranging events where we meet up at the venue. Obviously we have to bear in mind accessibility by public transport and we will be looking at different sorts of events in future and suggestions include group bus-rides to a destination.
