ASTRONOMY GROUP

My approach is to cover different topics of astronomy in a series of short PowerPoint talks with interaction from the audience, and organising occasional trips to look at the night sky in members gardens and local observatories.

The first half of each monthly meeting is with a talk on what we have seen in the night sky since our last meeting, sharing members images, what we can see in the night sky before our next meeting, together with what important things that have happened over the month in astronomy. Followed in the second part of the meeting with an in-depth presentation on an astronomical topic.

There will be a series of talks on, our sun, galaxies, aurora, and many other astronomical topics.
